A new research report reveals the hidden secrets of the most talented professionals

In The Mind Of The Rainmaker

Despite the highs and lows of a turbulent economy, certain professionals stand out for winning work effortlessly and gracefully.

They are invariably regarded by clients as the 'go to' individual in their particular business sector. Their professional reputation means that new business opportunities continually flow their way and they are actively sought after by potential employers.

So how do they do it? How do these professionals cultivate such a reputation and what are the ingredients of their success? It's a question we at The Results Consultancy asked back in 2010 and decided to conduct research to find out the answers.

Interviews followed with senior professionals in the accounting, legal, consulting, real estate and financial services sectors – people who are recognised by their clients and peers as being the 'go to' professional in their field. And we’ve now published the findings of our research in a new publication – Becoming The 'Go To Professional', written by, Steven Pearce and John Timperley

The good news is that the research reveals a number of common denominators - the DNA of a 'go to' professional if you like. These factors can certainly be analysed and, to an extent, copied. We’ve also captured in the research report the verbatim comments of our interviewees as this gives a sense of personality and 'real life' perspective.
